The following are active projects by the EAC.  Volunteers are needed to help in
these areas.

Open Space  - an Open Space Plan was completed for the township which laid
the groundwork for the land preservation program.  The EAC oversees the open
space program for the township, making recommendations to the Supervisors.  Several members have been trained on a GIS mapping system to help provide planning data for the township.  Future work will concentrate on developing an
Official Map for the township to help guide future development.

Township Park – A trail system has been set up in land set aside for a
township park.  This includes installation of a gazebo with stone facing and construction of five bridges to cross the streams along the trails.  The majority
of the work was done by volunteers, particularly Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts completing Eagle Scout projects.
Future projects in the park will include the
elimination of evasive  species, improvements for wildlife habitat and better
access to the gazebo via a walkway of paving stones.

Township Newsletter – The EAC has published several newsletters for the township, focusing on the open space program and environmental issues.
